As a hobby, Tony always had a passion for beer brewing in a 15 gallon system in his garage. in 2013, Tony was employed at Rock Bottom Brewery in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania as an assistant brewer.Soon Tony met Brewmaster, Brian McConnell, an award winning Great American Beer Festival senior regional brewer, and the two became fast friends. They began slowly crafting a top secret project. In July 2015, after helping transition the brewers at Rock Bottom, Tony helped launch The Sterling Pig in Media, Pennsylvania.
Given the opportunity from local restauranteur Brendan Sciarra, Tony had the opportunity to combine his passion for brewing beer and his ocean home. It was an offer he could not refuse. Tony has brought a lifetime of knowledge to MudHen Brewing Company from his expansive hospitality career and invaluable brewing mentorship. he is thrilled to provide a home town brew from a home town crew!
Tony is a local guy who graduated from Lower Cape May Regional High School. He holds a bachelor of science degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida. His career in Restaurant Management brought him to destination cities like Las Vegas, Orlando and Baltimore.
